Dear all,

While the 2020 pandemic isn’t over yet, a winter storm has come and damaged many homes and greeneries. Millions of homes with power outages had to endure the historic freezing cold of Texas. Water pipes were also frozen and damaged. Even until now, some areas still do not have running water.

Life sometimes can be wearying, hardships piled on top of hardships. However, all hardships and challenges are only temporary. Let’s stay strong as we wait for a brighter tomorrow.

In that spirit, Huong Tu Foundation of Huong Dao Temple is collaborating with United Way of Tarrant County to help those experiencing difficulties. We will provide 50 relief assistance applications for $250 each to the most heavily affected households in Tarrant County during the last winter storm.

The requirements for qualification are as follows:

– Resident of Tarrant County

– Low income

– Experiencing hardship due to the last winter storm

– First time applying with United Way of Tarrant County

– One application per household
